Gone Crazy @ 9 months pregnant? Maybe....

Why when you are pregnant does it give everyone else a license to comment freely on what they think about your pregnancy and how you look?

At anyone point you never know when that 9 month pregnant lady may laugh at what you say, cry at what you say, or just straight bite your head off and spit it out. I would advise you to keep quite. :D Just sayin'.

So here is my short list of things acquaintances have said to me and the thoughts that went through my head when they were said.

"Said = my thoughts"

1) Eventually you will show. = I have worked hard to grow this child whether you can see her or not. She is there.

2) Dang girl! You sure aren't very big. = I am sorry pregnancy was your license to eat everything on God's green earth and you were the big fatty in the room.

3) You look miserable. = How would you feel if you gained 20 pounds in your tummy and boobs?!

4) Your baby only weighs 6 pounds right now? I gave birth to a 10 pound baby. = Awww how sad. You are all stretched out and worthless even with the extra stitches. :)

5) Man I can't believe you are that far along! It has flown by! = Yeah to you. You aren't carrying a baby in your tummy with constant heartburn and indigestion.

6) Your feet and ankles look swolen. = Why don't you come rub them for me? You aren't doing anything. (Which by the way...no they aren't. Thanks for the insult.)

7)You should wait an extra amount of days and have her on my birthday. = You should shut your mouth and wish a late delivery on yourself not me. :D I don't want to carry this baby any longer than I have to and I am sure not waiting any extra days for your birthday.

Anywho.....my husband thinks I am hot even 9 months pregnant and that is what matters. He gives me back rubs, sent me to a massage therapist for a prenatal massage, kisses me sweetly, offered to help paint my toenails and shave my legs, and takes care of me. (I didn't have him do the feet or legs. I am going to get a pedicure and I managed shaving by myself.)

Oh yes and my obgyn calls me foxy...primarily because he can't remember how to say my name. But he did tell me he wished all of his pregnant patients were my size after I freaked out a little about my weight.

So the count is at 25 more days or less but not later to accomodate your birthday. :) Then maybe my moods will be a little more even and happy like they used to be.

Christina~ You betta be so glad you aren't an acquaintence or I would string you up by your toenails. ;)

Just given the fact that you are my amazon friend, your body was made for 10 lb babies. And I would LOVE to be almost an entire month late just for you. :)
