Poor Song
Randomly I break out in song....generally in an obnoxiously ridiculous voice just to annoy/humor L'il C.When I drive I always have my rearview mirror on her so I can see her. (I don't need a lecture of safety.) We had been chatting and had stopped and the silence was getting to be too much for me.
So, I started singing humorously.
She looked up at me and said, "Come on Mom! What did that poor song do to you?"
And that was that! I died laughing yet again!

Teacher's Appreciation Week
Our secretary at L'il C's school sends out a list that the kids can participate in for the teachers. Monday the kids were to bring a piece of fruit.
Tuesday they were to write the teacher a nice note.
Wednesday they could make or bring a flower.
L'il C has enjoyed doing these so far....until today. We were on our way to school and she asked me what today's idea was. I told her that Thursday said: "Bring your best manners and be on your best behavior for your teacher."
Then I hear the biggest sigh and she whined, "But Mom! I did that yesterday!"
Me - "Great! Now do it again today! That is what she is wanting. I mean it! That means yes ma'am, no ma'am, please, and thank you and for goodness sake keep your mouth closed today and don't get your name on the board!"
L'il C - "No burping contests either?"
Me - "Please no!"
L'il C - sighs exaggeratingly "But that's SO HARD!"
