Flexeril Warning
I get severe tension headaches often. My doctor prescribed me one Flexeril up to three times a day as needed. First of all ONE lasts all day and wipes me out. I could not imagine taking 3 a day. Therefore, most of the time I only take a half of one. So all of them are cut up in half in my prescription bottle. I started feeling a tension headache come on. Knowing they are time released and I didn't want to even take a full half since I am staying up late tonight I was going to take half of the half. I was in the car and I did not have a knife with me so I decided just to bite it in half since I had my tea with me and could wash it right down.
WRONG idea!! LOL!
My tongue is now numb from the sprinkles of muscle relaxer that ended up breaking off when I bit it!
So.....my warning to you is..... Don't bite pills. It isn't a good idea! :)

Like Rainman, She has no concept of $$$
Walking through the Walmart parking lot L'il C sees the Rib Crib to our right. She loves this place. She asks me if we can go and I told her I already had dinner planned at home. She said, "Please mom. We can use my money."
"Baby money isn't really the issue. We eat out quite a bit and it will do us both some good to eat at home."
"But mom please! PLEASE! I have one dollar and 4 pennies!"

A HORRIBLE DAY!
What constitutes a horrible day in your world?It sure puts it into perspective when you talk to my 6 year old!
From day to day it varies. The first day of first grade was "the best day ever!" However several times this week (which is only the first full week of school) she has had her name on the board a couple of times for talking (as usual) and she has also mentioned that some of her classmates have "made in front of her" (made fun of her) for the new boy liking her and enticing them to kiss.
So when I picked her up today the conversation went as follows:
"Hi Sweetheart! How was your day today?"
"HORRIBLE!"
"Aww Baby, I'm sorry. How come?"
"I can't tell you."
"Uhm....yes you can. Mommy needs to know what is going on."
"No mommy I really can't."
"Did you get your name on the board for talking?"
"No."
"Did you get kissed by a boy?"
"No."
"Did the boys make fun of you?"
"No."
"Seriously Sweetie. I need you to tell me what happened." (Thinking something AWFUL at this point.....)
"Well, when I was playing at recess, my hair came undone and I lost the "pony." (ponytail holder)
Blank Stare.
(Before we made it home she found it in her lunch pail and was ecstatic. Looks like we had a horrible day for nothin'!)

100 Things About Me and Things I like
Since a part of me is A.D.D. (J/K!) I only read things that are short and catchy....Lengthy things I tend to scan and skip stuff. I don't buy long mooshy cards because I don't want to read what it says. I buy cards that are short and sweet! :) A while back all of my favorite bloggers made a list of 100 things about them. I plan to do the same thing... 10 items at a time. (It took me 7 months to make this list and I won't be sad if you can't read them all due to your A.D.D.! HA!)1. I own my own business with Mary Kay Cosmetics.
2. St. Patrick's Day is my favorite holiday.
3. Green is my favorite color.
4. I collect 4 leaf clovers and shamrocks.
5. All I really want to do is travel the world.
6. I am a social butterfly!
7. I am a procrastinator.
8. I am a Christian.
9. I love to sit and watch people. (I get told frequently by non people watchers to stop staring at others!) :)
10. I am not the best driver.
11. I love movies.
12. I love to laugh!
13. I do not laugh quietly.
14. I went to Ireland for my honeymoon.
15. I had to drive in Ireland because my husband was too young.
16. I have three beautiful children.
17. I love being a mom. They are #1 in my life.
18. Fall is my favorite time of year.
19. I love to cuddle.
20. I love tender kisses especially on the forehead and cheek.
21. I am sarcastic.
22. It was a characteristic developed in me from years of getting my feelings hurt.

30. I keep a day planner to stay organized. It is always full.

32. I broke my left wrist the summer before my 6th grade year.

36. I went to college for 3 semesters.....I am back and on my 6th semester!

38. Never learned to swim.
39. I had too many ear infections as a child and I don't like my ears wet.
40. I would rather lay out in a pool on a raft than get in the water.
41. I am afraid of falling from heights.
42. I wanted to be a teacher when I was little so I could use a red ink pen to grade papers.
43. I don't like the word vacuum, it usually ends up with too many c's.
44. There are times when I misspell words. However, for the most part when I read anything, the corrections that need to be made leap off of the page at me.
45. It is annoying to people when I read their work. (especially my sister...but she does it to me too)
46. I love my sister.
47. It took her 26 years to realize it.

49. She is the only one that gets me and my jokes.

69. I have also been told I would be an awesome attorney because I love to argue my point and usually persuade the opposing party to take my side.
70. And if I can't do it by my argument, I bat my blue eyes. LOL!
71. My eyes and smile are what I get the most compliments on.

73. I have a birthmark in the shape of a leaf on the inside of my right knee.
74. I wear 5 1/2 and some 6 size shoes.
75. I like flying in airplanes, despite my fear of heights.
76. I love listening to live bands at a coffee house, restaurant, or concert.
77. Music is a must in my life.

79. I like doing word searches and Sodoku puzzles.
80. I am an optomist but I have a sense of reality.

84. I am a very forgiving person. (but don't lie to me or about me. I will forgive you but decline association with you and stick to it.)

88. The bad that has been dished out to me in my lifetime won't ever be repaid to those people by me. I am not about revenge.

93. I realized recently it is okay to date someone younger than me. (I married him.)
94. and that he can love me no matter what I have been through or done.

Great Advice from L'il C
This morning as I was braiding L'il C's hair she is looking around at the things I had left on the countertop. She proudly announces, "You shouldn't ever eat this stuff!"
One...does she know someone that has?? And two...did she think that I was going too?

High Expectations for 16th Birthday!
Every other weekend and one week night L'il C goes to her dad's. It usually isn't a Monday night but this week it was. He got to her school early this morning and they were waiting in the car. She was standing out of the sun roof playing while they were waiting and a cute little Mazda drove by. She said, "Oh that was a cute car!"To which her dad responded, "Yeah that is cute. What car do you think you might want for your 16th birthday?"
L'il C with no more than a pause responded, "Oh Daddy! I would love a red Porsche!"
Blank Stare from Dad..... then laughter.
Uhm, yeah.....about that.... "Honey, that is a good goal but not likely. Daddy doesn't have that much money for your first car."
"That's fine Dad, I probably have enough in my savings account. You can use some of that."

Trix and the Obsessions that Follow!
So as I was eating my cereal this morning I realize more and more how OCD I really am. (As if I need help realizing that!)Trix, Fruitloops, Cap'n Crunch, and any other assorted cereal that I eat, I can not do so with out eating one color at a time! ... AND Trix and Fruitloops I must eat in the order of the RAINBOW!
